ProForm Alternatives

The ProForm range offer a variety of exercycles to suit most needs, including those of high end athletes with their Tour De France training bike series. However, we’ve found some quality competitors that give ProForm a run for it’s money. The Schwinn 270 Recumbent many not have as comfortable seating but it features a better onboard computer system than any Proform recumbent offers.

For pure value for money the Sunny Indoor Trainer beats anything that ProForm offer, making it a good alternative for the budget conscious. Finally, the Schwinn 130 is a quality upright with more functionality than what ProForm offers.

They provide a full complement of upright, recumbent and spin bikes, aimed toward the mid and upper end of the exercycle market. Our favorite ProForm bike is the 515 CSX Upright with its 20 resistance and 28 workout programs and lifetime frame warranty.

ProForm are well known as innovators and their Hybrid Trainer, which combines a bike and an elliptical, as well as the Dual Trainer bike/rower combo are excellent examples.

As alternatives to the ProForm range, the Schwinn 270 recumbent provides more powerful computer specs to keep you motivated, while the Sunny Indoor Pro provides similar features as the 515 CSX, but at a cheaper price. The Schwinn 170 is an upright that boasts better functionality than the competition at ProForm.
